TIPA, 관세청 주관 'KOREA CUSTOMS WEEK 2023' 참여

  우리 협회는 4월 26일~27일 2일간 서울 신라호텔에서 관세청이 주관하여 개최한 ‘KOREA CUSTOMS WEEK 2023’에 참여했습니다.   KOREA CUSTOMS WEEK 2023은 ‘글로벌 관세협력과 디지텉 세관’이라는 주제로 70여개국 관세청장, 국내외 기업인 및 세계관세기구(WCO), 세계무역기구(WTO),국제기구 관계자 등 600여 명이 참석한 대규모 국제 행사입니다.    우리 협회는 이번 행사에서 민관 협력 세관 현장 지재권 보호 활동, 일반수입물품 단속 지원, 지식재산권 신고 제도 등 협회의 지재권 보호 활동 관련 리플렛을 전시하여 행사에 참여한 각국의 관세청 및 국제기구 관계자들에 소개했습니다. 하단에 TIPA가 행사에 전시했던 지재권 침해검사 프로그램 시연 영상이 있으니 확인 바랍니다.  Our association participated in the "KOREA CUSTOMS WEEK 2023." hosted by the Korea Customs Service at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul for two days from April 26 to 27. KOREA CUSTOMS WEEK 2023 is a large-scale international event attended by more than 600 people,including heads of customs offices from more than 70 countries, domestic and foreign businessmenand officials from the World Customs Organization (WCO), the World Trade Organization (WTO), and international organizations.  TIPA is an organization established under the supervision of the Korea Customs Service to protectintellectual property rights for goods imported and exported during customs clearance. TIPA collaborates with the Korea Customs Service and has developed a program for public-private cooperation, which incorporates highly advanced next-generation AI technology to build a system for efficiently protecting intellectual property rights. TIPA is pursuing an overseas customs consulting business for this public-private cooperation program.Specifically, TIPA performs intermediary roles in verifying intellectual property infringement with rights holders, focusing on the Korea Customs Service and customs clearance stages. Through this, TIPA was able to detect over 100,000 cases of the small parcel or cargo infringement and carry out on-site verifications for rights holders in the past year alone. Secondly, TIPA is developing and operating a system essential for performing these roles. TIPA calls this system CDS(Counterfeit Discrimination System), which connects the Korea Customs Service and rights holders. CDS supports all administrative procedures, status recording, verification requests, and customs resulting in notifications that occur while using human resources. In particular, we'll bring next-generation artificial intelligence to CDS later this year. They are making it possible for customs officials to confirm the infringement at any time. The role of AI is to determine whether there is a possibility of infringement, and if it is, to immediately notify rights holders so that customs officials only need to conduct inspections. AI supports subsequent actions, including automatically informing right holders or customs inspectors. From the development of the human resources process to the on-site construction of the system, TIPA is carrying out consulting services with our capacity If you are interested, please contact us anytime.At the bottom, there is a demonstration video of the intellectual property infringement inspection program displayed by TIPA at the event, so please check it out.   - Contact : chris@e-tipa.org↓ 아래 사진을 클릭하시면, 자료실로 이동하여 리플렛을 다운받아 보실 수 있습니다.   If you click on the picture below, you can download our new leaflet.

안녕하십니까 TIPA(무역관련 지식재산권보호협회)입니다.   지난 23. 4. 24일부터 23. 5. 30일까지 실시한 1차 지원사업을 종료하였고, 하반기에 계획하고 있던 2차 공고를 보다 빨리 개시하게 되었습니다.   해당 지원사업은 TIPA에서 국내 권리자(및 중국내 지재권 보호 위임장을 제공할 수 있는 해외 지재권자 포함)의 실질적인 중국내 지식재산권 보호 위해 23년부터 시범적으로 진행하고 있는 사업입니다.   지식재산권 침해 행위에 대한 대응의 첫 단계는 그 현지 국가에서의 자신의 권리에 대한 침해규모 파악에서부터 시작을 해야합니다.   이를 위해 TIPA에서는 이를 수행할 수 있는 협력사를 선정하였고, 상당비용이 발생할 수 있는 중국내 온·오프라인 시장조사(약 2,700만원 상당)를 100% 지원합니다.   이어서, 다음 단계로 조사된 업체에 대해 가능한한 빠르게 단속 및 소송 등을 통해 침해자를 제재해야 그 효과성을 기대할 수 있습니다.   TIPA는 권리자의 중국 현지에서의 단속 및 소송의 비용 부담을 실질적으로 없앨 수 있도록 단속 및 소송의 합의 및 배상금으로 비용을 정산할 수 있도록 협의를 하였고, 부족분액이 발생하여도, 기업에서 별도로 납부하는 금액이 없도록 구성을 해두었기에, 이번 시범 운영 기간을 적극 활용해보시길 바라겠습니다.   TIPA는 실질적인 중국내 지재권 보호를 위해 시장조사부터 단속 및 소송까지 필요한 기업을 우선적으로 지원할 계획입니다. 이는 이미 중국내에서 별도의 대리인을 고용하여 중국내에서 단속 등을 실시하고 있는 권리자분들도 병행하여 활용해보시기 바라며, 지재권 침해로 인한 기업의 피해를 최소화 하기위해 TIPA도 함께 노력하도록 하겠습니다.  <K-브랜드 중국 내 지재권 보호 지원 사업 안내>   1. 지원 사업 내용    가. 중국 위조제품 현황 기초 시장조사 무상 지원      * 온라인/오프라인 지재권 침해 시장 조사 결과 보고서 제공    나. 중국 내 피조사 업체 단속(온라인, 오프라인) 및 민·형사 소송 지원    - 중국내 침해업체 단속·소송을 실시하여 ‘합의금 및 배상금 등’으로 실질 비용을 정산      * 부족분액이 발생하여도 기업에 미청구, 실질적 기업의 비용 납부 없음    - 중소·중견기업의 신청 건의 경우 합의금 및 배상금을 통한 비용 정산 이후 잔여 보상액 중       일부 기업에 환급 (계약 단계에서 환급액 산정 기준 안내)   2. 지원 신청 요건 및 제출 서류    가. 지원 신청   ◦ 접수 기간 : 2023. 6. 9(금) ~ 2차 사업접수 종료시까지(마감시 홈페이지에 안내됩니다.)   ◦ 접수 방법 : E-mail로만 접수(접수 후 반드시 전화로도 한번 더 말씀주시기 바라겠습니다)       - 담당 : 류중희 과장, 02-3445-3761, yoojh@e-tipa.org      나. 추가 제출 서류   ◦ 지원 신청 서류 제출 후 안내           - 신청서류 다운로드 : https://www.e-tipa.org/board/c_news/18    ◦ 신청 절차 : 우선 신청서를 제출 → 접수 → 이후 추가 제출서류         우선 신청서류부터 협회로 제출해주시고, 이후 추가 필요한 서류들을 보완 접수하시면 됩니다.

[협회동향] KTV 국민방송, TIPA 세관 검사지원 업무 취재

[협회동향] 해외 지재권 회원사(시스코) TIPA 방문 및 실무 협의

 <TIPA 기획실장, 기획팀장, 전 세관 출신 TIPA 기획팀 소속 전문가 두 분과 향후 진행방향 등 심도있는 논의를 진행하였습니다.>ㅇ 6월 21일 시스코의 Frank Yu(아시아 태평양 지역 브랜드 보호 매니저)가 TIPA를 방문해,    TIPA 정남기 회장과 함께 지재권 보호 현황 및 협력 방안에 대해 논의하였습니다.   ㅇ Frank Yu 매니저는 시스코 제품에 대해 설명하고 브랜드 위조품 동향을 공유하였습니다.    TIPA와는 세관 단속을 위한 준비 사항에 대해 논의하고, 위조품 샘플 교육, 침해 의심 업체 현황 조사 등을     협력하여 추진하기로 하였습니다.

[협회동향] 2023년 수출입물품 지식재산권 보호 워크숍 개최

지난 2023년 6월 22일~ 23일 양일간 동안 경기도 광주 곤지암리조트에서 관세청과 TIPA가 공동 주최·주관한 ‘2023년 수출입물품 지식재산권 보호 워크숍’이 개최되었습니다.관세청 및 세관, 지식재산권자 및 유관단체, TIPA                ㅇ 지난 2023년 6월 22일~ 23일 양일간 동안 경기도 광주 곤지암리조트에서 관세청과 TIPA가 공동 주최·주관한     ‘2023년 수출입물품 지식재산권 보호 워크숍’이 개최되었습니다.   ㅇ 관세청 및 세관, 지식재산권자 및 유관단체, TIPA 임직원 등 총 70여 명이 참석하였으며, ▲TIPA의 ‘민간영역에서 지재권 보호 개선노력 및 성과’        발표 ▲관세청 수출입안전검사과의 ‘지재권 보호 통관관리체계 개선방안’ 발표 ▲인텔런트 특허법률사무소의 ‘분쟁사례를 통해 본 글로벌 IP 전략’      특강 등을 통해 민·관 각 분야에서의 지식재산권 보호 발전 방안에 대해 상호 공유하였습니다.   ㅇ 또한, 주제별로 5개 분임을 나누어 △『침해우려/통관보류 사실』에 대한 효율적 통보 방안 △권리자 감정절차에 관한 효율화 방안 △지재권                침해물품 폐기에 관한 최적 방안 △지재권 보호를 위한 국제 공조 방안(K-브랜드 보호 포함) △권리자/수입자 권리 보호를 위한 제도개선 방안 등      심도깊은 논의도 이루어졌습니다.   ㅇ 코로나19로 인해 오래간만에 개최된 이번 워크숍은 최근 급증하는 특송·우편을 통한 지재권 침해물품에 대한 대응관리 방안을 마련하고, 민·관          협력에 의한 지재권 보호 강화 방안을 모색하며 서로 소통하는 귀중한 자리였습니다.
